Which NC Quick Pass account is best for you?
Personal account
- Save 35% on tolls in North Carolina
- Up to ten (10) vehicles per account
- One transponder per vehicle
- $20 minimum prepaid balance
- HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) compatible
Business account
- Save 35% on tolls in North Carolina
- Unlimited number of vehicles per account
- One transponder per vehicle
- $20 minimum prepaid balance for each transponder
- HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) compatible
HOV only account
This account can only be used for HOV travel in the I-77 Express Lanes. HOV only account holders must have three or more people in the vehicle and set HOV status with the NC Quick Pass app or website 15 minutes before travel. This account cannot be used anywhere to pay tolls and is restricted to one vehicle per account.
First responder account
All first responders with an account and properly installed NC Quick Pass First Responder sticker are eligible for free travel on North Carolina toll roads while responding to emergencies for law enforcement, fire, rescue and medical services. First responders must fill out the first responder application and submit the form online. NC Quick Pass we will get in touch to complete the sign up process.
Transit account
Transit vehicles with an account and properly installed NC Quick Pass Transit transponder qualify for free travel in the I-77 Express Lanes. Transit agencies can fill out the transit application and submit the form online. NC Quick Pass we will get in touch to complete the sign up process.
